Check out my my online exhibition In Collaboration with Stop SGC (2021)

Stop SGC are a group in Frome, Somerset, protesting to stop a new housing development which spans across 197 acres of countryside. The new development will create 1700 new homes putting great pressure on the already overwhelmed infrastructure in Frome.

The online exhibition includes black and white, and colour photography of Little Keyford. In the exhibition I wanted to document the beauty and the life that exists on this land and what the land means to the community. I have attached to each photograph a comment from one of the members of the Stop SGC group, each comment is a response to one of my 3 questions: Why have you joined Stop SGC? What do these fields mean to you? And how will it affect you if the development goes ahead? The responses I got from the questions were overwhelming and deeply saddening.
